I am proud to announce the launch of the website of the 720 student ski club. The new website is a custom-built Drupal powered site that can easily be maintained and extended as needed and helps 720 keep its members up to date on the latest news and happenings.
The new website is a replacement for their old site which was coded in ASP and maintained by their former webmaster, and without no one knowing how to maintain it there was clearly a need for a new site that was easier to maintain and sported a new, bright design. The website is powered by the flexible and powerful Drupal CMS which offers an intuitive interface for keeping content up to date as well as goodies such as URLs that make sense, detailed logging and usage statistics, and a wide range of modules for additional features such as guestbook, blogging and forums.
The 720 ski club arranges parties and trips, to Sweden and abroad and works to make more people interested in alpine spots such as skiing and snowboarding and to let students enjoy skiing in a cheap and fun way.
